To prevent future resin failure or if the water pressure has dropped in your house:
We do not recommend resin exchanges on older softeners as the existing valve has a life expectancy of between 10-12 years.
Resin exchanges are available in Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph on our own softeners only and if the softener is less than 10 years old. Remember your valve may fail even if you invest in a resin exchange.
